I already have a profile in BorrowHood but this is my other studio -- La Casa Azul, the Blue House in Coyoacan. The one where I was born, where I married Diego (twice), where I died. The house is painted blue because blue keeps evil spirits away. Or because it is beautiful. Same thing. This workshop is for my folk art collection -- ex-votos, retablos, Judas figures, pre-Columbian ceramics. I collected the soul of Mexico and hung it on my walls. Come see it. Touch nothing. Feel everything.
