Chi Sono

Artist, sailor, and renovator based in Trapani, Sicily. Born in Rome in 1965, studied photojournalism at the International Center of Photography in New York. Work spans oil painting, watercolour, photography, video, drawing, performance, and installations. Exhibitions include Palazzo Fendi (Rome), Galerie Mario Iannelli (Berlin), Galleria Civica (Cortina d Ampezzo), Galerie Valerie Cueto (Paris), and Studio Casagrande (Rome). After years living on a 30ft sailboat in Sicilian waters, I renovated a BnB in Trapani centro where every wall is a gallery. I teach painting, drawing, and sailing -- and my sons are training for the Olympics. The sea taught me patience. The canvas taught me to see. Trapani taught me home. Visit: www.corradosassi.com
