Science for Young People -- The Christmas Lecture
A demonstration-rich science talk designed for children and teenagers. I started the Christmas Lectures at the Royal Institution in 1825. Fire, ice, magnets, sparks, bubbles -- real science made visceral. No equations. Just wonder. The Chemical History of a Candle -- six lectures explaining all of chemistry through a single burning candle.
Castle Design & Fortification Workshop
Concentric walls, flanking towers, murder holes, killing grounds. I designed Chateau Gaillard in Normandy -- three baileys, each commanding the one below. Philip took it by climbing through the latrine chute. Tip: Design for the attack you cannot imagine, not the one you expect.
Crusader Longsword & Heater Shield Training
Full-weight cruciform longsword and heater shield. The longsword is 40 inches of straight double-edged steel, designed for mounted and foot combat. The heater shield replaced the kite shield -- lighter, better for mounted lance work. I will teach you the cross-guard parry that saved my life at Jaffa.
Iklwa Stabbing Spear & Isihlangu Shield Set
The iklwa -- named for the sucking sound it makes when pulled from a body. Short-hafted, broad-bladed, designed for close combat behind the cowhide isihlangu shield. The shield hooks the enemy's shield aside, the iklwa goes in underneath. I changed warfare in Africa with this weapon.

Five hand-tailored silk qipao dresses in the styles I wore on screen and in life. Each one is a work of art -- embroidered, fitted, and designed to make a statement. I was the most photographed Asian woman in the world. These dresses are why. Borrow for shoots, exhibitions, or costume reference.
Scottish Claymore (Two-Handed Greatsword)
66-inch two-handed claymore, the weapon of the Scottish Highlands. Designed for sweeping cuts that clear a path through armored men. My own claymore was reportedly taller than most men. The reach advantage against sword-and-shield is decisive if you have the strength.
Representation in Film Workshop -- Fighting for the Role
I fought Hollywood's stereotypes for forty years. Sometimes I won. Sometimes I took the role anyway and subverted it from inside. This workshop is about navigating an industry that doesn't see you -- how to advocate for yourself, how to find humanity in limited scripts, and how to build a career when the system is designed to exclude you. Tip: Your anger is valid. Channel it into the work.
