Platform Information
La Piazza is a free community platform for renting, selling, teaching, and sharing between neighbors. We charge zero platform fees. Payments happen directly between buyer and seller.

Authentication
Authentication is handled by Keycloak (self-hosted). We support login via email/password, Google, GitHub, and Facebook. Passwords are never accessible to La Piazza.
Liability
La Piazza facilitates connections between users but is not a party to any transaction. We are not responsible for the quality of items, fulfillment of agreements between users, or payments. Disputes between users are mediated through our dispute system, but final responsibility lies with the parties involved.

La Piazza is developed as an open source project. Source code is available on GitHub.
